i had meant to blog about this when i got to know about the 'plan' a few weeks ago, but i've procrastinate till now. one of my worst nightmares has come true. i'm not sure if you guys remember the office bitch i was constantly ranting about? well she has now moved into the operations office. *jumps for joy*

i rememebered when i started work, she used to give me so much trouble just because she could. she used her position as the CEO's secretary to lord over most of the office people, esp me. i was a noob then, so obviously i just did what she asked me to do. i did her work while she made slides for her church (no offence to church going pple!). and even when i refused, she went to my boss and asked him to make me do her work. eventually, i just learnt to be rude and abrupt when i'm refusing to help her out. i am not the only one who found her rude and unhelpful. she was like public enemy no. 1 back then. this position has since been over taken by another person whom i have dubbed Dino.

sidenote: some of you might think i'm mean to be giving nicknames to the people i work with. and i really feel quite bad sometimes BUT i'm not the only one who thinks that way AND it does serves as a glue to bond the rest of us together. i.e. when we are bitching about them. so yes. i'm a bad person. at least i admit it!!

then we merged and moved offices. and i thought i was free from her clutches! alas! this was not meant to be... after a year free of the office bitch (aka mother hen aka lao kuay bu) she has now moved to our dept. the reason why she moved to our office, and in my personal pov, is that there was nothing much left for her to do. except to handle petty cash and ad hoc stuff in the office. on one hand, i actually feel bad for her because the CEO actually asked ard the ops dept whether any of the HODs wanted to take her in, but no one wanted to. and eventually a new dept was created to house these 'redundant' people. it's called FOTC.

so when the rest of the colleagues found out that i have to work with her due to teletubby, everyone came to offer their condolences. wahahahhahaah. i found that pretty amusing. i admit that i was not looking forward to working with her and i had thought (and still do!) that she will mess up whatever work that Le Le and i have done so far. but in all objectivity, i reserved my comments for later. so far, she has been quite ok to work with. she has been polite and nice, and extremely proactive. but blame it on negetive reinforcement or whatever, there is some small part of me that will always have doubts about her working capabilities. that small part of me also wonders when she's gonna screw up or start being the nasty person like she was back in the old office.

sidenote: i'm amazed at how some people managed to mask an unhappy topic, such as telling a person he/she is kinda redundant, behind words that sound so pretty. it's almost as if he/she was asking that particular person in qn whether he/she can make a switch to another dept so that her/his colleauge won't lose her/his job. AMAZING.

another thing i wanted to blog about but didn't manage to finish:

i had a meeting on tuesday, regarding teletubby... i must say that i was quite disgusted with the proceedings of the meeting and certain people involved. one of them loved his voice so much that he just dominated the whole meeting. the rest just have such condescending views on our crew and their capabilities to handle a e-system.

i am grossed out.
